I have to share this story because for me it shows my growth .
I had set up an appointment at Direct Buy . The whole sale home furnishing store. They make it clear that when you come for a tour you are not allowed children under 12 . Okay , I have 2 kids under 12 . I had attempted to schedule the tour while the kids were at school . It wasn’t working out , So the gentlemen said he would make a exception to the rule. I had assured him I have really well behaved children . ( which I do )
Okay so here we are Tuesday 5 o’clock , The man calls to make sure I am coming . Again I so remind him I am bringing my children. He again assures me it wouldn’t be a problem . Well wouldn’t you know , When we got there it was a problem . He was nowhere to be found . I spoke to 4 different people telling me that it doesn’t matter what he said NO CHILDREN .
Well they kept saying I understand that you are angry . Well I had to assure them that Angry I am not , FASCINATED I am .
FASCINATED
After all these years I can find myself fascinated instead of angry . Talk about growth . Put me there 2 years ago and it would have been a ugly scene .
